Digital technology made an amazing promise: To connect us to each other, to democratise information and to unlock human potential.
...and yet we seem to have taken a wrong turn with it. It steals our attention, mines our data and all this connection has perhaps made us ever more isolated.
This session will seek to look at where our relationship with Digital went wrong and to explore some ways in which technology might be re-steered to get us back on track.
At the core of this discussion is to what extent technology has been designed in service of the human. How can we ensure that the products, services and strategies which we devise, whether a disruptive startup or the digitally transforming establishment, have our best interests at their core? As we stand on the precipice of the next phase of Digital evolution, with automation and AI poised to augment or even replace human effort, it's more vital than ever that we grapple with this subject.
We don't have all the answers, so let's talk about it.
4 talks, 10 mins each...then we'll hash it out.
At our offices: 31. St Petersburgh Place, W2 4LA
On Thursday the 15th of June 8:30-10:30am
We'd love for you to join.
