Had 3 meals, 2 roasts and a veggie; and 3 drinks. Came to £35 exactly. Food was good, if slightly overcooked, but for the money, was excellent value. Service could not be faulted - quick and polite.
The pub itself was pleasant. Particularly liked the piano being played in the corner on a Sunday afternoon. Quite busy, but managed to find a cosy corner to have a meal and a chat. Only downside for me were the loos. Too small, no elbow room! (make it a single more roomy cubicle.)
Recommend it to people wanting a quiet pub with a nice atmosphere.
