This pub changed its name to 'The Driver' several years ago. Gastro-feel meets friendly local. A modest range of beers including a couple of real ales, excellent food over the bar or in the appealingly unpretentious dining room at good prices - try the Driver's Salad for an impressive not-so-light meal! Nice when it's quiet - can get uncomfortably noisy when busy as rather hard acoustics. Currently appears to be extending space upstairs
