My fiance and I went to the Leicester Sq branch, and the food was so delicious, it was well worth the price. Our only suggestion is that you dont drink alcohol in there as we only had 2 drinks each along with our meal and 1 desert (no starter) and out bill was just under 100GBP, the decor is nice but the lights are a bit bright and it is a small restaurant, but our overall opinion is that we enjoyed the food very much and we would recommend it (without alcohol).

Looking for a good steak and couple of quick drinks with a view last night, I took a couple of guys from work to sit on the terrace of the Angus Steakhouse on Leicester Square. The manager and hostess both greeted us at the door, and took us to a table. All we really wanted was a quick appetizer, beer and steaks, and the waiter had our order and drinks on the table within 3 minutes, which is a miracle in Central London. Stan (the waiter), was fun, easy-going, and even recommended a couple of bars to check out after the meal when challenged. The 2 Ribeyes and 1 Filet were cooked as ordered, and quality steaks. We whacked back a couple of espressos, and must have been in and out in under an hour. No complaints.

This was quite simply the worst experience I have ever had. Went in Dec '05 with a good friend. We both had the ribeye steaks, which were very overdone, then found out that chips were extra!! The dessert was served in part of the packaging and was mediocre at best. Total cost-almost ?40 with wine. Simply dreadful decor and full of foreign staff who couldn't understand English at all-in the end we had to point at the menu. Awful, awful, awful-do not go-even for a bet. rating system not sufficient to describe this place as it should be closed down immediately. I shudder to think what tourists will think of British cooking if this is their only experience. You have been warned!!
