The restaurant had been booked prior to our arrival, however, there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant and service was horrendously slow from the very start. Making any order was difficult in itself. We had to catch the waitress?s attention while she whizzed around. We waited for 90 minutes for our starters and the meals all arrived at different times. The waitress apologised for the delay and kept repeating that the kitchen had ?a problem.? Some of us had eaten our meals, whilst others were still waiting for theirs. When curries had arrived we still waited another 20 minutes for rice, which when it did arrive, was cold and sticky. The soup was drowned in salt and didn?t smell at all like something edible. There was a strong smell of sewage in the restaurant and towards the end of the evening; several people in the group could smell gas. We would certainly not recommend this restaurant, nor will we ever be going back. The service was awful and the food terrible ? even with the 30 0iscount the waitress gave, we should not have been asked for payment at all. They should have paid us to eat there!
