Fantastic place! Great food, although only managed 2 course due to the massive portions on offer! We love this restaurant, its the only thing streatham has going.

I?ve eaten in this restaurant a co?ple of times. The second time was not because I wanted to go. It was terrible the first time & just as bad the second time!!!
You write all over the net saying how good El Chicos is... under different names. On a few sites 5 or 6 six reviews in one day!!!

I live not too far away from this mexican and my family love it. I have a teenage son (16) and he would rather spend an evening there than anywhere else. We go there alot and the food is FAB!!!! The choice is great and the staff are friendly. The music is modern mexican and you feel comfortable even if mexican foos is a new experience. Go along and have fun. Its great day or night.!!!!

Just read the review about El Chicos on this page and i could'nt agree more. I've been there in the day when it is an exceptional, comforting daytime restaurant, and i have been there at night when the place is transformed into what i believe is the best restaurant/bar combo this side of Cancoun! The staff are absoloutly phenomenal (many of which encourage you to dance with them, in a nice, unpretentious kinda way)and the people who go there are a nice mix between young professionals and people who want to have fun and relax. And if you do go there, please please try the Cactus Blue cocktail... its to die for!!

I discovered this place in streatham about 2 years ago. The food is absoloutly fantastic, very reasonably priced and VERY large portions!! But its also a bar with very loud (good) music, and you are encouraged to dance on the bar, and you probably will after sampling anyone of over 150 cocktails there. All in all, one of the best, friendliest places i have ever been to.
