Great modern British cuisine in beautiful Victorian dining room, great service all in a prime location overlooking Portobello Road and the market.

First Floor
The First Floor Restaurant is at the heart of Notting Hill. Occupying a corner building on the famous Portobello Road, the restaurant has a Ground Floor Bar and Private Dining Rooms on the top floor. With its tall windows and grand chandelier the restaurant has an old world elegance to it. The food is another story - up to speed modern European with some great British dishes. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.

Saturday is the day to visit Portobello Market and the First Floor is a famous stop-off for lazy Saturday Brunches.
Full-on Sunday roast lunch at the First Floor is also a local institution.

The busy Ground Floor Bar serves good inexpensive bar food and coffees as well as alcohol. In the evenings there is a kicking cocktail list and speciality tequilas and bourbons. Look out for D.J nights and promotional events posted on this website. The Ground Floor Bar has a 12.00am (midnight) license.

Walk up to the top floor and you enter an unexpected fairy tale world where gothic meets baroque. Two atmospheric private rooms on this final floor are a wonderful venue for launches and parties. A baronial banqueting table seats up to 28 people for private dining in grand style.
