Fright Night is Britain’s biggest Halloween Carnival, attracting over 40,000 people into the City Centre each year and has become a Sheffield institution!

Always staged on the Sunday before Halloween this year Sunday 28th October 2012, we close the roads in Sheffield City Centre around Fargate, Tudor Square, Barkers Pool, Peace Gardens, Surrey Street, Leopold Street, Orchard Square, Millennium Square & Winter Gardens for this ‘mass promenade’ event.

Attractions in 2011 included a Giant Puppet, urban dance, the Titan Robot, Shopping Trolley Grannies, Fire Horse, Ghostbusters car, Dr Who Tardis and Dalek, a Scream Tent, a Giant Cycling Hippo, fancy dress catwalk, funfair rides/stalls, samba band, food stalls, children’s activities & craft stalls.

NB A full list of attractions for 2012 will be available in July 2012.

The event is made possible with the support and help of Sheffield City Council, Travel South Yorkshire, Real Radio, Sheffield Youth Service, The University of Sheffield, Sheffield Newspapers, First Buses and many other partners.
