FREE multi-media workshops and showcase events for teenagers. Participants can use the latest technology, share ideas and creative skills and learn from media-industry professionals in the mobile creative village.

Highlights include:
Learn to streetdance with Leeroy Bailey from the Kombat Breakers, the Coventry dance group that shot to stardom on ITV's Britain's Got Talent. Followed by a Q & A session with Leeroy, who has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment including Lemar, Beverley Knight, UB40, Kele le Roc and DJ Luck and MC Neat.
Dance with young Coventry group the Bhangra Heads, who reached the semi-finals of Sky TV's Got to Dance show with their exciting mix of traditional Bhangra dancing and contemporary styles.
Join a fun and physical Improvised Drama session or a dynamic and very funny Stand Up Comedy workshop, with award winning EGO Performance Company.

Other exciting workshops on offer include:
Get tips, skills and ideas from John McKeown, Coventry's well-known graffiti artist.
Follow the lead of professional samba players in a mass percussive performance.
Use state of the art equipment to make a film; create electronic dance music; remix your own version of a chart hit; or try radio journalism and programme making.

The Launch Showcase on Friday at 7.15pm will feature drumming from Demestra, dancing with the Bhangra Heads and young local band ‘Capture’. Then on Sunday at 5.15pm a selection of work created at the event will be shown at the Blast Talent Showcase, where you can get to see the future stars of the area showing off their new skills!
