Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra makes its much anticipated return to Meyrick Park, Bournemouth on Friday 5 August with a Classical Extravaganza featuring some of the best classical music ever written including Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, John Williams’ Superman March, Gladiator by Hans Zimmer, and other masterpieces by Johann Strauss, Rossini and Elgar, ending in an explosive finale with Ravel’s iconic Bolero.
Saturday 6 August sees the return of the amazing Queen Symphonic Spectacular featuring full rock band and star singers from the West End. After the huge successes in Meyrick Park in 2007 and 2017, the BSO is delighted to restage this spectacular concert.
Gates open at 6pm for picnics on both nights.
It really will be a highlight of the summer so make sure that you are part of it!
