Join us for an amazing day of live music, poetry performances, inspiring speeches, environmental documentary film screenings and craft activities. All day, from 12noon until 11pm, we have planned an event absolutely packed with entertainment with something for everyone!
There is no entry fee but we are raising vital funds to ensure we can keep fighting to halt mass extinction and minimise the risk of social collapse. XR BCP is not a charity but we are run entirely by volunteers and all money we raise goes directly to fund our climate and biodiversity campaigning activities.
Our incredible line-up of musicians and bands – Mischa and His Merry Men, Rootstone, Ethereal and The Celestials, Sophie Avison, Ant Henson, Rahul Panchal and Dirtstew.
Our sensational poets – Dr Aanka Batta, Sukie Baker, Claire H and Steven Kermode.
In the downstairs mini cinema we’ll be screening the following documentary films, all with an environmental theme – Hogwood: A Modern Horror Story, The Oil Machine, Down the Drain, Food for Thought, Conscientious Protectors, Offshore and Burned: Are Trees the New Coal?
There will also be a drumming workshop from our brilliant band, XR BCP Rhythms, which will be open to all. Awesome prizes are up for grab in our pub quiz and tombola. Downstairs we’ll be doing some fabric printing and there will be lovely vegan baked goods on sale too!
