About Great Baddow Christmas Market
Great Baddow Christmas Market brings a warm dose of festive cheer to the Great Baddow Millennium Community Centre near Chelmsford on Sunday 29 November 2026. Running from 11am until 4pm, it is a free, in-person community market packed with stalls, treats and family fun — the ideal way to kick off the Christmas season with friends and family.
Expect beautifully decorated stalls, a friendly local crowd and a relaxed atmosphere, all indoors at the community centre so the weather can’t spoil the day.
Run in the community spirit of Great Baddow, the market brings together local traders, makers and volunteers for a relaxed, feel-good day out. Because it is held at the Millennium Community Centre, everything sits comfortably under one roof and is easy to navigate, even with small children and buggies in tow.
What to Expect
Stroll through stalls offering unique gifts, handmade crafts and festive treats, and pick up something special for your loved ones. Children are well looked after with free kids’ activities, free kids’ crafts and free family fun games, while the whole family can enjoy tasty food and festive drinks while they browse.
Doors open at 11am and the market closes at 4pm, giving you a full afternoon to shop, eat and enjoy the entertainment. With free entry and plenty of free activities for children, it is an affordable way to get into the Christmas spirit and support local businesses at the same time.
