About Christmas Market Family Fun Day with Elsa
The Christmas Market Family Fun Day with Disney Princess Elsa returns to Great Bromley Village Hall near Colchester on Sunday 13 December 2026. Running from 11am to 4pm, it is a free family Christmas market with a magical twist — a meet-and-greet with a Disney Princess Elsa lookalike that is sure to delight younger visitors in the run-up to Christmas.
The day combines everything families love about a traditional festive market with the added sparkle of a princess appearance, all in the friendly surroundings of a community village hall.
Great Bromley Village Hall has hosted festive events for years, and this Elsa-themed funday has quickly become one of the highlights of its Christmas calendar. Being volunteer-run and community-focused, it keeps things friendly, affordable and genuinely family-oriented from the moment you walk in.
What to Expect
Explore a cosy wonderland of stalls filled with unique gifts, handmade crafts, decorations and tasty treats, then head over for the free Meet & Greet with Disney Princess Elsa — a lovely photo opportunity for little fans. Children can also enjoy free kids’ activities, free kids’ crafts and free family fun games.
The event runs from 11am until 4pm and is held entirely indoors, so it goes ahead whatever the weather. Expect a steady stream of families through the afternoon, with the Elsa meet-and-greet sessions proving especially popular — arrive early if you want to be near the front of the queue.
