About the Christmas Market Family Funday with K-Pop
The Christmas Market Family Funday with K-Pop Meet & Greet comes to Layer de la Haye Village Hall near Colchester on Saturday 5 December 2026. Running from 11am to 4pm, this free family event combines a traditional festive market with a special appearance by RUMI from the hugely popular K-pop Demon Hunterz, making it a genuinely different kind of Christmas day out.
It is a community-spirited celebration packed with stalls, treats and activities, designed so that families can enjoy a full day out without spending a fortune. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
Layer de la Haye Village Hall is a well-used community space just south of Colchester, and the funday has been organised to bring local families together for a relaxed, festive afternoon. The blend of a traditional Christmas market and a modern K-pop attraction means there is genuinely something here for every age group, from toddlers to grandparents.
What to Expect
Browse stalls filled with festive gifts, crafts and tasty seasonal treats, then let the children loose on the free kids’ activities, free family games and entertainment throughout the day. The headline attraction is the K-Pop Meet & Greet with the famous RUMI from K-pop Demon Hunterz — a must for younger fans, with photo opportunities and a chance to say hello.
The event runs from 11am to 4pm and is entirely indoors, so rain or shine the fun continues. Expect a steady flow of stalls, entertainment and meet-and-greet sessions throughout the afternoon, with plenty of space for buggies and little ones.
