Funhouse Comedy Club is returns to the Castle Inn, Castle Donington on Wednesday October 26th for more fun and laughter.
Topping the bill is winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards 2016 the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity and truly impressive musical mastermind with hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.
Opening the night will be the appealing and gripping writer and comedian Eddy Brimson. Known as a ‘geezer’ he is one of the most entertaining comedians on the circuit. Having made many TV appearances including Eastenders, Absolutely Fabulous, The Thin Blue and Casualty, he has also featured in TV adverts such as Snickers and Bacardi Breezer. Travelling all over the world as a stand-up he once even did a gig naked!!!!!
Completing the line-up is ‘Brummie’ funny man Tom Christian joint winner of 2015 Midland Comedy Awards New Act with his wonderfully clever routines and complex and silly wordplay.
Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for 4 years running and co-star of the ‘The ParaPod Movie’ which has been selling out cinemas, who enthrals the crowd with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
