Funhouse Comedy Club is back at Derby Rugby Club on Friday February 24th for a laughter-packed night.
Topping the bill is Christian Reilly who at the age of 15 joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas! He became an integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world 3 times. Now as a solo performer he both captivates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines.
Opening the night will be award winning comedian and writer Mark Maier. Before starting in comedy he wrote and performed in numerous radio commercials in America. Also in demand as a voiceover, you may have heard him on South Park as well as various commercials. As a comic actor, he appeared alongside Ardal O’Hanlon and Hugh Dennis in BBC TV’s long-running sitcom ‘My Hero’ and has many TV and Radio credits to his name. His inventive material is delivered with a mix of humour and tragedy.
Completing the line-up will be Kate Martin with her high energy storytelling and razor sharp observations.
Compere for the night will the positive, amiable and amusing Dave Bryon.
