Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great night of laughter to The Old Bell Hotel, Derby on Friday March 25th.
Topping the bill is producer, director, writer and comic Bennett Arron. The only Jewish/Welsh comedian on the circuit he has supported Ricky Gervais on tour. Also a trained actor he takes command of the stage and his humour veers between obsessed anxiety and natural occurrences, with his contagious laugh he lights up any room.
Opening the night will be bestselling author and comedian Sam Avery aka ‘The Learner Parent, who is currently touring his Toddlergeddon Tour show about his twin boys. He wanted to be a rock star and nearly made it as a member of DBH (Dirty Blue Hook), touring with Motorhead and Ice T. After a number of other jobs, he finally turned to stand-up and is renowned for his observational skills, quick wit and enthusiasm.
Completing the line-up is the uniquely funny Billy McGuire with his guitar.
Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds, winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for 4 years running, who enthrals everyone with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
