Langtree Sinfonia are delighted to be performing the Saint Saens 2nd Piano Concerto with Anita D’Attellis. Although Langtree are an enthusiastic amateur orchestra, Anita is very much a professional, and is well known locally as she is based in Henley-on-Thames. The concert opens with the popular Egmont Overture by Beethoven, and is then followed by the less well known but immediately enjoyable 1st Symphony of Charles Gounod. The concerto will feature in the second half. For the first time, Langtree are welcoming Kevin Withell as their guest conductor.
