The Penzance branch of RGB Building Supplies is inviting the local community and those who work in the trades to a charity trade and fun day on Wednesday 14th September in aid of RGB’s chosen charity, the RNLI.
Between 10am and 3pm, visitors to the branch will be able to enjoy a hog roast and have the chance to win a prize by taking on the builders merchant’s mascot Archie Bee in a penalty shootout.
Metal roofing and composite decking specialists Cladco, roof window manufacturer Keylite, flat roofing supplier Cure It, and renders, flooring and remedial damp proofing solutions distributor Tecbuild, will be demonstrating products and answering visitors’ questions throughout the day.
Richard Jayne, Branch Manager at RGB Penzance, commented:
“Throughout 2022, the whole RGB branch network is fundraising for the RNLI, which does fantastic work throughout our region saving lives and educating people about water safety. Our team wanted to do something fun to support the charity and we look forward to welcoming people along to our trade and fun day. Whether visitors work in the industry or are planning home improvements, it’s a great opportunity for them to talk to experts about their upcoming projects and take part in a fun challenge.”
The trade and fun day will take place at RGB’s Penzance branch, which is located on Branwell Lane, on Wednesday 14th September.
