Join us at The Fold in our fabulous market barn for a traditional Cèilidh on Saturday 20 August – with music provided by Let Them Eat Kale.
For those that are intrigued … A ceilidh is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering. In its most basic form, it simply means a social visit.
In contemporary usage – and very much so what we are intending it to be ,,, it is a large and very Fun! barn dance backed by Gaelic folk music.
It is in an incredible evening for friends, families and everyone in between.
A live folk band lead by a caller talks and walks you through a series of group and pair dancing, that has everyone up on their feet, laughing, moving, connecting and in general having an absolute wail of a time.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet people in the local community, get out in the fresh air, move your bodies and experience a ‘real’ good old fashioned knees up! A truly great night out for the whole family!
Doors open at 19:00 – get your drinks and food and then start dancing the night away from 19:30
Children under 5 go free. Dogs welcome. Free parking.
Refreshments will be available on the evening.
