Kick off your Christmas countdown with the Haven House Christmas Trail 2026, returning to the enchanting woodland grounds of Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford Green on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026. This magical, family-friendly event invites children and grown-ups alike to wander through a festive trail filled with Christmas sights, sounds and surprises at every turn.
Follow the path through the beautiful wintery woods to complete the Christmas Trail, discover festive displays along the way, and warm up with seasonal treats while the little ones burn off their excitement. Every ticket supports the care of children with life-limiting conditions and their families, so your day out makes a real difference to the hospice community.
What to Expect
Expect a full morning of seasonal fun spread across the hospice grounds. Highlights include the Christmas Woodland Trail with small games and festive activities along the way, plus a craft station where children can get creative with Christmas-themed arts and crafts to take home. Each child receives a goody bag including an Advent Calendar, and there are themed photo opportunities throughout the trail to capture the memory.
Sweet treats and refreshments are available to purchase, and a raffle gives you the chance to win festive prizes while raising funds for the charity. Getting There
The trail takes place at Haven House Children’s Hospice, High Road, Woodford Green, IG8 9LB. The hospice is easy to reach by road from the A406 North Circular and the A104, and there are regular bus links along High Road. If you are travelling from central London, Woodford station on the Central line is a short bus or taxi ride away. Places for the Christmas Trail must be booked in advance and each day – Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November – has its own session times between 10:00 and 15:00.
