MOOR LAUGHS COMEDY CLUB IS delighted to welcome back for his third vist in 5 years our good friend and your good friend ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU:The creation of DAN RENTON SKINNER – a member of the Dutch Elm Conservatoire sketch group – ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU is the owner of a burger van who wants to break into show business.
He got his break in 2009, when he became a permanent team member on the revival of VIC REEVES and BOB MORTIMER’S SHOOTING STARS, replacing Johnny Vegas on Ulrika Jonsson’s Team B, before becoming the scorer.
Angelos was nominated for the breakthrough award and best sketch or character act at the 2010 Chortle awards. In 2012 he starred in his own Channel 4 series.
Since then he has spoken in debates at the OXFORD UNION, entertained the troops in Afghanistan (alongside people like LENNY HENRY, JIM DAVIDSON ….and even some comedians) and been on sell out tours up and down the UK.
He is very much in demand as a headline act in the nation’s biggest and most popular comedy clubs.
Angelos will be supported by the really quite superb MATT STELLINGWERF!
Highly regarded by his peers, New Zealander Matt Stellingwerf has won four NZ Comedy Guild Awards, including Best Newcomer, and been nominated for the much-coveted ‘Billy T Award’, as well as several others. He is now UK based and respected nationwide by promoters and comedy venues.

Originally from Canada, Allyson initially shone in multiple high-profile slots at the Winnipeg, Halifax and Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival. And that was just the start. In the years that followed she received multiple nominations for Best Female Stand-up at the Canadian Comedy Awards, taped her own Comedy Now special and did stints on MuchMusic’s Video on Trial and CBC’s The Debaters.
Now settled in the city of Manchester, UK, it’s time for Europe to reap the rewards of ALLYSON JUNE SMITH’S ever-inventive comedic ascent.
