About Signature Brew Haggerston
Signature Brew Haggerston is a brewery taproom and live music venue tucked into the railway arches at 340 Acton Mews in east London, moments from Haggerston Overground station. The sister site to Signature Brew’s Blackhorse Road brewery, this Haggerston taproom pours the brewery’s own award-winning beers fresh from the tanks while doubling as an intimate gig space with a capacity of around 200 people.
Signature Brew was founded by two musicians who wanted to put great beer and great music under the same roof, and the venue still reflects that idea. The arch setting gives the room a raw, industrial character, while the programming ranges from live bands and album launches to club nights, comedy and DJ sets. It has become a local favourite for anyone who wants a proper pint and a gig without a trek across town.
What to Expect
Expect a relaxed taproom atmosphere with a rotating line-up of Signature Brew’s core beers and small-batch specials, alongside a handful of guest taps and non-alcoholic options. The venue is standing-room for most gigs, with a raised area and good sightlines across the arch. Food is often served by rotating street-food traders, though you should check the venue’s listings for each event.
Doors and stage times vary, so it is worth arriving a little early and checking individual event pages for age restrictions — many club nights and gigs are 18+, and photo ID may be required on the door. Accessibility information is available via the venue’s own FAQs.
Getting There
Signature Brew Haggerston is at 340 Acton Mews, London E8 4EA. The easiest route is Haggerston London Overground station, roughly a five-minute walk away, with Dalston Junction and Hoxton also within reach. Several buses run along the nearby Kingsland Road, and there is limited on-street parking in the surrounding residential streets, so public transport is usually the better bet. You can find more to do nearby on our London events page.
