the merry month of May…
is exactly that.
to others there is…
not a moment of merry to be had.
May with it’s fragrant floral flavours…
favours all in it’s own way.
still this day in May…
many a poet will say…
in creative dismay…
that grey is…
or at least can be…
the reality of this day in May!
as the birds chirp…
the bees sting.
as the spring sun shines…
the moods of the moon defines…
how the green green shoots of May…
can be tinged with a bit of blue…
not too much of course.
as May is to rejoice not remorse.

workers worldwide united against..
the blight of capitalisms might.
a celebration at the end of the day that lasted well into the night.
