AMADIS AND THE AMBASSADORS (LIVE) – Band on stage around 9pm, performing 2 Live sets
“Amadis and The Ambassadors” are a music group who came together in London, by coercion through front man Amadis Ferreira; cooking up infusion of music with flavours of Afro, Funk, Reggae and Soul on the menu and has been on the London music scene for more than a decade. Rich in melody and groove, it will take you on a journey of rhythm and conscious vibration.
The Ambassadors played in numerous live music venues and festivals across, Europe and Asia and in venues like The Jazz Cafe (London) and built up an extensive repertoire of original songs that cross the different genres, making it a truly new age world music sound.
The Ambassadors are, Bubu Jah Tooth on Drums, Emilliano Zapata on Guitar, Al Maranca on Bass and Jackson Baird on Keyboards, Amadis Guitar/Vocals.
2019 saw the release of the first studio album of Amadis and The Ambassadors recorded at Moonwake Studio in London.
The debut album titled “1979 Dig Deeper” is now available on digital music platforms worldwide and Vinyl!
MR.BOOGIE/SOULSA:
Soulsa ® is a portmanteau comprising the terms Soul and Salsa – Soul acting as the representation of any beat or rhythm of Black origin while Salsa serves to encapsulate the sonic essence of the Latin diaspora. Inspired by the spirit of 60s and 70s Spanish Harlem and in existence since 2005, the Soulsa ® brand is the brainchild of DJ, music industry all-rounder and self-confessed vinyl junkie Mr Boogie.
