Having emerged bloodied but intact out of the last 2 years of pandemic uncertainties, cost of living concerns, bungled brexit and all the rest, we are still here! Come celebrate our second birthday as a community-centred, folksy offering with some extra-special musical treats in store as well as the odd passing canape. 🙂 On Thursday, The Hot Town Stompers will swing you into the mood from 8pm with an always excellent jazz jam with special guests and the odd surprise drop-in. The weekend will feature some of the finest traditional Irish music in Britain, with powerful trad sessions at 8pm on Friday and 4pm on Sunday (enjoy with a fine roast dinner, a pint of our exceptional beer or both!). On Saturday evening at 7pm we welcome Derek Hickey and Jack Talty, two of Ireland’s most accomplished and admired masters of button-accordeon and concertina. As always, Chef Romeo and his team promise to deliver mouth-watering fare to accompany your enjoyment of our wee festive occasion. Everybody is welcome to join us.
