In 2019 Anne Marie reformed Ghost Dance with ex Harlequyn members, Tim Walker, Phil Noble and Dave Wood, then in 2020, Stephen Derrig (formally of Original Sin) completed the line up and work commenced on a new album. Both Harlequyn and Original Sin had played several support gigs to the original Ghost Dance line-up in the late 80’s. The new single ‘Falling Down’ was released on Voltage Records in August 2021, with ‘Jessamine’ following in 2022.
A new album is currently in the final mixing stages and is entitled ‘The Silent Shout’. It features eight new songs and two new recordings of previously unreleased tracks written by Gary Marx in the ’85 – ’89 period. The Album will be released by Voltage Records and PHD worldwide in the spring of 2023
Their live shows are proving that the music of Ghost Dance really does surpass the tests of time. Having already made huge waves and impressed their fans, old and new, at the handful of shows they have already performed.
