The Hanwell Carnival is London’s oldest carnival, held annually since 1898. On Saturday 20 June 2026, Elthorne Park in Hanwell, Ealing, transforms into a colourful festival ground attracting over 25,000 visitors.

Hanwell Carnival offers a diverse programme with live music on multiple stages, local food stalls, craft market, children’s attractions and a grand parade. The festive atmosphere draws thousands of visitors from across London every year.
History of Hanwell Carnival
For over 125 years, Hanwell Carnival has been a cornerstone of the community in Hanwell and Ealing. What began as a small community carnival has grown into one of the most popular free family events in West London. The carnival is organised by local volunteers and all proceeds go to charitable causes.
