Happy Mondays Comedy at the awesome Amersham Arms and bring you a fantastic night of comedy includingtheAmazing Golden Buzzer BGT 2020 Finalist and Star of Celebrity Masterchef 2021 and soon to appear on new series of BBC’s Live At The ApolloNabilAbdulrashid, Hatty Ashdown ( Comedy Central’s Give Out Girls and host of Funny Mummies podcast ), tip for the top Peter Rethinasamy, new comedian and graduate of Jeff Innocent’s comedycourse-Mossy and possibly festive funny toons from Tony Ukulele,providing the lols, all hosted by your cheeky MC Sion James at the Amersham Arms.

We are operating the event strictly in accordance with the Government’s guidelines and our experience of hosting events over the last 18 months to help you have a safe and enjoyable visit, reduced capacity and with some of the procedures previously in place to reduce transmission risk.

 

We want you to be comfortable, relaxed and safe while enjoying some great live comedy!

Nabil competed in the 2020 series of Britain’s Got Talent, enjoying a triumphant run to the competition’s final, drawing praise from the show’s judges for his hilarious and uncompromising brand of stand-up comedy. Awarding Nabil the coveted ‘Golden Buzzer’ in the first round of the competition, Alesha Dixon praised his “edgy, charismatic” style while David Walliams described both his performance and writing as “perfect”. In a piece suggesting Nabil should have won the competition overall, the Sunday Telegraph described Nabil’s performance in the final as “urgent, uncompromising and refreshingly radical fare, smartly woven into a gag-packed set.” The youngest Black comedian to perform stand-up at London’s Hammersmith Apollo

Peter Rethinasamy

Born and raised in Belfast to a Malaysian father and Irish mother. His mix of Asian and Irish descent, alongside his very likeable stage manner, makes him one of the most unique acts around as well as very funny. Watch this space, one for the near future on your TV’s.
