Mark Nevin wrote the Number One song ‘Perfect’ for his band Fairground Attraction. Their album The First of a Million Kisses went triple platinum in the UK and they were the first to win both Best Single and Best Album awards at the Brits.
He went on to co-write and play guitar with Morrissey and Kirsty MacColl and have songs covered by David Bowie, Joe Cocker, and Ringo Starr, among many others. For the past 20 years he has been a critically acclaimed solo artist and released seven studio albums.
