I AM MORBID brings MORBIDFEST Tour 2022 to celebrate the 30-years’ anniversary of the ‘Blessed are the Sick’ album
Headlined by the mighty I AM MORBID, MORBIDFEST Tour 2022 is specifically dedicated to the 30-years’ anniversary of the band’s ‘Blessed are the Sick’ album. The tour was initially announced for 2021 and rescheduled due to the pandemic. But, it’s finally happening in 2022 with even higher anticipation! The touring package is enhanced by the very special guests BELPHEGOR, and supported by HATE.
I AM MORBID was formed by David Vincent, the legendary frontman (vocalist & bassist) of the genre-defining extreme metal purveyors, MORBID ANGEL. Alongside drummer, Tim Yeung (former Morbid Angel); guitarist, Bill Hudson (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Circle II Circle); and guitarist, Kelly McLauchlin (Pessimist, Possessed), the band performs Vincent-era classics from Morbid Angel’s ‘Altars of Madness’, ‘Blessed Are The Sick’, ‘Covenant’ and ‘Domination’ albums.
Since 1993, the Austrian death/black metal gods BELPHEGOR have been delivering their select diabolical death musick, and one album after another has nailed down the tightest black/death performances. The band’s lyrics tirelessly explore the darkest, most dismal parts of demonology, witchcraft, and the grand devil, himself.
The Polish blackened death outfit HATE will perform their new album Rugia released via Metal Blade Records in summer 2021. The band offers European tribes to taste new songs of pure blasphemy inspired by archaic Slavic themes and mythologies, as well as best works from Auric Gates of Veles live within a massive lineup.
