Providing an essential platform for talented young and student musicians to let loose, experiment and explore new school / old school musical realms, deep in our intimate live lounge at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

This week, we welcome two truly fantastic bands (linked by DJ) for two extended live sets. Both bands serving up a full evening of righteous musical joints, delivered well hot and cool.
Bands live on stage from around 730pm, each band performing one live set.
JACK WILLIAMS (Live)
Do you find happy music extremely depressing?

We’ll play both.
Jack is a pianist and composer who likes to combine seemingly remote worlds into a curious universe.
In his original brand of Jazz, Jack and his band of miscreants juxtapose heavy grooving polyrhythmic riffs with ear-twisting harmonies and brooding, thoughtful ballads, in a programme featuring overambitious original compositions, some of his favourite tunes by his heroes and daredevil improvising.

KAVIS BAND (Live)
Kavis Band is a band of jovial and silly friends who, at the behest of “Kavi”, play only the silliest instrumental jazz fusion. Join us on this magical journey through “Kavis” music, brought to life by a brilliant sextet, featuring Grifton Forbes-Amos on trumpet, Morgan Wallace on sax, Lucia Goya-Betts on piano, Charlie Jackson on guitar, Dillon Harrison on drums, and “Kavi” on the other thing.
