COURSE and PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:
Happy Holidays from CineMavericks, the film school for the next generation of independent-minded thinkers. This season we’re offering a PROMO CODE below for our 2023 programme for kids 8+ of weekly online content creation classes, designed by award-winning film Director Flavia Casa. Our flagship FILMMAKING CLASS introduces students to the whole filmmaking process, from ideation through to post-production. It starts SUNDAY 8 JANUARY. Students are invited to practice along with their devices and learn professional industry tips. Runs Sundays 5:30-7pm BT. We also have scriptwriting classes running Mondays at 6:30pm, and in-person film half-term and holiday camps starting in May (camps available for age group 13-16). In this “engaging and supportive” environment, students improve communication when writing, leadership when filming, and teamwork when editing. By creating their unique video content, they will become more confident storytellers – a vital skill for today’s digital world. Keeping our collaborative classes affordable follows our philosophy: that filmmaking should be accessible to all, no matter the background or level, and telling a good story can be made on any device, no matter the resources.
