About the Event
The London Taco Experience returns to Riverside East in Stratford for another day of tacos, tequila and good vibes on Saturday 19 September 2026. Join London’s hottest taco traders as they serve up authentic Mexican street food, creative specials and plenty of spicy favourites — all on the massive outdoor terrace, rooftop and indoor arena at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Whether you’re chasing the perfect taco, an ice-cold margarita or a full day of Mexican-inspired food, music and atmosphere, this is the place to be.

The festival brings together some of the best Mexican food operators in the capital:

Getting There
The event takes place at Riverside East (Stratford), 5 Thornton Street, London E20 2AD — around a 10-minute walk from Stratford station, which is served by the Central and Jubilee lines, the Elizabeth line, the DLR, Overground and National Rail. Follow signs towards the Olympic Park and the River Lea; Thornton Street runs directly alongside the waterway.

Food & Drink Highlights
This year’s line-up of traders includes Nopalito, MexClub, Awebo!, Polanco, Los Gordos and Tacos MX, with more names to be announced. From al pastor and birria to vegetarian and vegan specials, there’s a taco for every taste. Pair them with ice-cold margaritas, micheladas and a carefully curated hot sauce showcase where you can taste and buy new favourites.

Music & Atmosphere
Music runs all day at Riverside East. A live mariachi band brings authentic Mexican sound to the outdoor terrace, while DJs keep the energy flowing across the rooftop and indoor arena from morning to night. The venue’s riverside location in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park adds a summer festival feel to the whole experience.
