Following our short summer break Exploding Cinema is back at the Cinema Museum for another rambling night of new, short films made by independent filmmakers from the UK and around the world.
A fresh programme of documentary, animation, musicals, dramas and alternative realities with many of the film-makers in attendance for short Q&As.
Our shows aren’t just a single screen in the auditorium, every surface is plastered with light and images.
Plus we have live music, our famous raffle and riotous audience interaction (well, hopefully – that’s up to you).
Exploding Cinema is a London based short film show that has been running since 1991. Entirely run by volunteers, it provides a platform for independent and underground filmmakers to show their films to a real, live audience, free of censorship or festival gatekeeping.
