Funhouse Comedy Club is back at Melbourne Sporting Partnership, on Friday October 28th for more fun and laughter.
Topping the bill is the acerbic ‘Mancunian’ comedian and writer Alex Boardman, known for his unique brand of ‘flattery and abuse’, which is done with a lack of malice and a big sense of fun. His improvised witticisms, loved-up reminisces and tall tales can lead anywhere on any given night.
Opening the night will be the vastly entertaining, mischievous and hilarious Maff Brown, who writes for Mock the Week and appeared on Jack Dee’s Lead Balloon. With his creative material and exuberance he captivates the crowd leaving them wanting for more.
Completing the line-up is Pete Phillipson, originally from Lincolnshire but based in Manchester, he has been building a name for himself on the circuit as a very funny act over the last few years, mixing fast-paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations.
Compere for the night will be the sociably perceptive Sean Moran, with his sharp observational comedy and intelligent lines.
