Funhouse Comedy brings a special night of laughter to the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Thursday July 28th, which features two top TV acts both previewing their new hour shows that they are taking up to the world famous Edinburgh Festival this summer.
Topping the bill is Hal Cruttenden who has made numerous TV appearances, including ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘The Rob Brydon Show’, ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’, ‘Would I Lie To You’, ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘Mock The Week’, ‘The Great British Bake Off – Extra Slice’, ‘Celebrity Squares’, and Pointless Celebrities.
It’s Best You Hear It From Me
After 21 years and 224 days Hal’s back being single. But it’s all going to be fine. Instead of getting the therapy he clearly needs, he’s made a cracking show about it. He’s lost enough weight to almost get his wedding ring off and, while he may be flying solo, he’s far from alone; he’s got his grown-up daughters, his dogs and his divorce lawyer. The fickle finger of fate has turned Hal’s life upside down but he’s sticking a finger right back at it.
Opening the night will be Ian Stone who has made many TV and Radio appearances including ‘Mock The Week’, ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’ and ‘Saturday Live’.
