Newport Pembs Food Festival

Stalls focus on local food, the basic and unusual with tasters. Including cheeses, sea foods and weeds, rare breed small scale meat, coffee, flowers and flour, organic veg galore, nut chees, honey, apple juice etc. Meals from Shaar Cuisine and a group of teenagers. Talks and demos on real sour dough, regenerative farming, fermenting etc
The rest of the week there are farm tours and local ingredient meals in pubs, cafes, restaurants: Pwnc, Tides, Temple Bar, Royal Oak, LLys Meddyg, Cat Rock cafe, Newport Boat club. The week ends with a dinner and party into the night at Llys Meddyg with wine, cheese and salmon taster sessions
