For well over a decade, the spectacular joint concert by the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines Scotland and the Perth Choral Society has been a particular popular date in Perth’s musical calendar. The beautiful Perth Concert Hall is the venue for this event, providing a modern yet intimate setting for two groups with a shared love of music and performance.
This concert highlights diversity with symphonic wind band, big band charts, choral works, while also showcasing the soloistic talents of members of the Band.
The Choral Society is led by former Royal Marines Director of Music, Peter Rutterford, who previously conducted the Scotland Band and is the driving force behind the success of this joint venture.
