Music that makes you feel good is what Fusion Inusual bring to The Square. Fronted by the amazing Sophie Henderson, the band put their own bright spin on songs from artists such as Oleta Adams, Erykah Badu, Jorja Smith, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Pharrel Williams… to name a few.

Sheffield’s very own big band. Foot stomping, toe-tapping songs to swing your thing to. Featuring special guest vocalists, and possibly one of our biggest ensembles to fit under the legendary Leopold Square gazebo!
Shane Durrant
Performing a wide range of feelgood piano classics spanning all eras and decades in his own soulful and unique fashion, Shane should not be missed. His set will also include many traditional British sing-along anthems that will get everyone on their feet.
Phil Johnson
One of the UK’s most in-demand session drummers steps into the limelight to showcase his vocal and keyboard skills. With a band of Sheffield’s finest, Phil always entertains with a mix of Jazz standards, gutsy blues, and pop classics.
The Swing Commanders
The Swing Commanders are a stunningly vibrant and versatile group that performs an exciting mix of 1940s classics, boogie-woogie, western swing, 50s jump jazz and more. Every member of the Swing Commanders sings and plays at least one instrument, sometimes three, but what makes them stand out even above their incredible music ability and performing skills is their joie-de-vivre. Expect energetic showmanship, instrument swapping, intricate arrangements, and sophisticated vocal blend. This isn’t a nostalgia trip or Rat Pack karaoke – it’s fine songs played joyfully and brilliantly.
