With both an effervescent energy and a beautiful soulful voice, Emily has been wowing audiences at Leopold Square for years, and she is a welcome return in 2022. Turning her hand to jazz, soul, and funk classics with a cracking band behind her, Emily never fails to impress.
Saturday 16th July – 2pm to 4.30pm – Jeremy Sassoon
Manchester based singer/pianist Jeremy is a well-established name on the UK jazz scene, having traded his former gig as a Psychiatric Doctor! A regular at Ronnie Scott’s in London, Jeremy has a mastery of the Jazz language, and we welcome him to our live-music roster.
Sunday 17th July – 2pm to 4.30pm – Sophie Henderson
Music that makes you feel good is what Sophie brings to The Square. She puts her own bright spin on songs from artists such as Oleta Adams, Erykah Badu, Jorja Smith, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Hiatus Coyote… to name a few. If there’s time, Sophie may even run a couple of her own songs past you. You are in for a treat with Sophie and her band Fusion Inusual.
