England Women will face the number one team in the world, Australia, in what is set to be an enthralling Ashes series taking place across England in June and July.
The Women’s Ashes multi-format series will start on Thursday 22 June, and with more than 65,000 tickets sold already, this summer’s showdown series is expected to break all attendance records for women’s international fixtures in England. It is the first year that the fiercest competition in cricket has both men’s and women’s competitions being played alongside one another, with equal prominence, at the biggest grounds.
The seven-match series will culminate with One Day Internationals (ODIs) – the 50-over format of the game – the second of which will be at The Ageas Bowl (Southampton) on Sunday 16th July.
Tickets to watch England Women this summer are now on general sale. Visit www.ecb.co.uk/tickets for more information.
