Funhouse Comedy brings another night full of laughter to Towcester Mill Brewery on Thursday April 27th.
Topping the bill is UK-based, French comedian and raconteur Marcel Lucont who has appeared on ‘The John Bishop Show’ and ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’. Having toured the world with his dry wit, bawdy chansons and exquisite poetry he has the audience laughing from start to finish. His deadpan delivery and surreal musings are both inspirational and fascinating.
Opening the night will be the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent 2017 and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition and has just supported Jason Manford on his arena tour. Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona, his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria.
Completing the line-up is Jamie D’Souza with his mix of short stories, one liners, unique and catchy musical combinations, delivered with an instant likability and an understated confidence.
Compere for the night will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self deprecating and observational humour.
