Funhouse Comedy is back the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton on Saturday November 27th for a laughter packed night of fun.
Topping the bill is Britain’s Got Talent 2019 semi-finalist, the much loved Mrs Barbara Nice, who has supported both Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay on tour and has been compared to Victoria Wood, Julia Walters and Mrs. Merton. The malapropism spouting Stockport Housewife is a force of nature, energetically cajoling the audience to take part in her hare brained stunts and injecting an unbeatable air of fun and excitement into the room , having them in the palm of her hand right from the start.
Opening the night will be the fresh and funny Javier Jarquin, with his well crafted jokes and very likeable stage persona. AKA ‘Card Ninja’ he may perform his magic act with a twist.
Completing the line-up is Pete Phillipson, originally from Lincolnshire but based in Manchester, he has been building a name for himself on the circuit as a very funny act over the last few years, mixing fast-paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations.
Compere for the night will be comedian and political activist Kate Smurthwaite, her appealing character and articulate address intrigues the crowd as she mesmerizes them with her unique observational humour.
