Funhouse Comedy Club – Comedy night in Nuneaton September 2021

Funhouse Comedy returns to the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton on Saturday September 11th for another great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the affable Ben Norris who has appeared on TV’s ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ and ‘Mock the Week’ as well as being the voice on campaigns for Carling and Emirates. Once when he was the warm-up man for ‘Mock the Week’ he had to stand in for Frankie Boyle who was rushed to hospital. A natural comedian, his sharp mind-set and supply of clever lines keep his audiences totally absorbed.

Opening the night will be winner of ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’ the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV’s Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV’s Splash. Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves everyone wanting for more.

Completing the line up is Romanian professional stand up comedian Radu Isac. Since moving to the UK he has switched to performing in English and has done so seamlessly, winning various comedy competitions, including Funhouse’s own “Should I stay or Should I Go?” Champions’ title.

Compere for the night will be the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, ‘Celebrity Deal Or No Deal’ and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ ‘Extras’.
