Suckley’s BFG (Beer Food and Gifts Festival of local produce and talent) is an annual event in and around the village church. It began in 2016 when the Hop Shed Brewery moved to Old Chicken Shed amidst the Hops growing at Stocks Farm, Suckley. People bring their neighbours and families and friends to have a good time in the fresh air, enjoying being together and even doing a bit of early Christmas shopping! Local artisans enjoy bringing their wares, and craft beer aficionados come to sample the prize-winning new brews.
This is a Suckley Community event with profits going to the Suckley Community Charity SPACE. SPACE is creating a multi-function community space within the church and creating events that bring together the scattered community of Suckley. The BFG reputation has spread far and wide and has grown over the years.
