Funhouse Comedy brings a Bank Holiday Weekend night of laughter to Ashby Lyric Rooms on Sunday April 30th. This is a special show, part of the We Got Tickets Independent Comedy Festival.
Topping the bill is the cheeky and camp Stephen Bailey, who’s appeared on TV’s ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’ and done warm-ups for ‘Let’s Lunch with Gino and Mel’ and ‘Loose Women’. With his sharp wit and warm persona he soon has his audiences fascinated.
Opening the night will be Irish comedian Martin Mor. Starting out as a circus entertainer he then decided to turn to stand-up. Having supported Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner on Tour he is one of the most popular and well-travelled comics on the circuit. His fiery insults often directed at audience members, are accepted with laughter when delivered by this gentle giant of a man.
Also appearing is the fantastic El Baldiniho, who recently appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, with his individual style of comedy magic and mind-reading.
Completing the line-up will be David Luck with his clever one-liners.
Compere for the night is the energetic and friendly Spiky Mike.
