Funhouse Comedy brings another Christmas Special night of laughter to the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday December 22nd.
Topping the bill is 2021 British Comedian of the Year Finalist, the incredible Scott Bennett who recently made his ‘Live at the Apollo’ debut and is widely tipped in the industry as on the brink of the big time. He was also runner up in 2014 English Comedian Of The Year competition, Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival 2019 and support for both Michael McIntyre and Rob Brydon. This loveable rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic, who has been busy entertaining people through the lockdown, with his ‘Stand Up From The Shed’ online show.
Opening the night will be 2021 British Comedian of the Year Finalist, the very likeable, down to earth and madcap Lindsey Santoro, who has just supported Joe Lycett at Wembley Arena; recounting tales of her misadventures in life, in her unique side-splitting style. She never fails to leave the crowd in tears of laughter.
Completing the line-up is the lively and likeable ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ 2020 Semi-Finalist Raj Poojara, one of the most exciting new acts breaking through the UK scene at the moment.
Compere for the night will be the chatty and cheerful Spiky Mike.
