Funhouse Comedy Club brings another line-up of top comedians to the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday March 2nd.
Topping the bill is Roger Monkhouse one of the most experienced acts in the business. His deadpan style and quick wit make him one of the best acts out there, and he is a regular fixture at top venues all over the country, as well as performing extensively throughout the rest of the world.
Opening the night will be musical stand-up Richard Morton, who has supported Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Lily Savage and Phill Jupitus on tour as well as having many TV credits to his name. This livewire Geordie comic is full of surprises and frantic energy, bounding around the stage like an overgrown child on a massive sugar rush and then entertaining his audience with his hilarious songs.
Also appearing will be the lively and likeable ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ 2020 Semi-Finalist Raj Poojara, one of the most exciting new acts breaking through the UK scene at the moment.
Completing the line-up is Fred Ferenczi with his very clever and very twisted sort of comedy.
Compere for the night will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
