The Headley Venue in Thornton, Bradford is pleased to host Moor Laughs Comedy Club who present Scott Bennett, Jack Carroll and Jim Bayes.
Our headline act for our first show at The Headley is Live at the Apollo’s hilarious SCOTT BENNETT:
After starting comedy in late 2009, Scott is a stand-up comedian and writer whose star is most definitely on the rise.
He has appeared on BBC’s Live At The Apollo, Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Likely Dads and Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican, The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith, and Knock Knock with Helen Lederer. He also featured on the BBC One show, Live from The Edinburgh Fringe.
For our middle act we are proud to present Bradford-born Britain’s Got Talent Finalist and actor JACK CARROLL:
Jack became an overnight stand-up sensation after reaching the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2013 where he came second on the show at just 14 years old and has since worked with the likes of Jason Manford and Vic Reeves, whilst also performing stand-up on shows such as ITV1’s Sunday Night At The Palladium and It’s Been A Funny Old Week.
“A comedy GENIUS” – David Walliams
Introducing Jack and Scott will be our opening act JIM BAYES:
Endearing and likeable performer Jim Bayes is a frustrated Yorkshire man with the ability to make excellent and thoughtful observations as well as having an eye for the silly.
“There was rolling laughter and applause breaks throughout” – Brudenell Leeds
“One to watch out for” – BBC Humber
“Goes about his set with casual confidence” – Scorpio Reviews
